Shisha
Shisha is the arabic word used
to describe the flavored shisha
smoked in Egypt. Shisha is a little
different than that of the conventional
cigarette or cigar. This shisha
is comprised of shisha leaves,
pulp of various fruits, molasses
or honey to give lends a certain
sweetness to the shisha. This
combination makes shisha a truly
smooth smoking experience for
all involved. Flavored shisha
is an essential element for the
operation of a hookah. There is
a wide array of flavors to choose
from, all the way from common
flavors such as apple to trendy
flavors like cappuccino. Each
flavored shisha smells and tastes
remarkably like the fruit indicated
in the name. The smoke from flavored
shisha also has the same aroma.
Two or more flavors can be mixed
to make your own custom flavor.
Another advantage of flavored
shisha is that the shisha is slow
burning; one bowl of shisha lasts
for about an hour, depending on
how many individuals are partaking
in the smoking session. Flavored
shisha has a 2 year shelf life,
if stored in an airtight container
at room temperature. Most importantly,
flavored shisha contains no tar
and only a minimal amount of nicotine,
a result of the fermentation process
of the shisha leaves.
